Richard Miles is Head of Savings & Marketing / Area Manager (East Wales Region) at the Swansea Building Society. He has over 30 years financial services experience gained within the banking / building society sector mainly in the Midlands and Wales area.

Richard has a degree in Banking and Finance from Cardiff University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Open University.

Richard is a Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee of YMCA Cardiff Housing Association which he joined in February 2024. (Richard was previously a Board Member of Linc Cymru Housing Association prior to its merger with POBL Group in April, 2024 where he was Chair of the Remuneration and Pensions Governance Committee and a Member of the Audit and Nomination Committees. He was also a Director of Tarbed Limited, a subsidiary of Linc.)

Richard lives in Cardiff and has been a member of Cardiff Business Club since 2017.
