Cat Griffith-Williams is CEO of Constructing Excellence Wales, the united voice of the Welsh built environment sector. She works with and for Welsh Government to provide Welsh Ministers with specialist construction advice, real time market intelligence and a research capability, to improve the quality of engagement between government and the sector.

Cat represents the construction industry and it’s firms which are integral to supporting economic development in Wales and contributing to Wales’ engagement with businesses across the world. Cat has a strong communication, public and corporate affairs background, as she ran the Welsh office for Grayling, one of the UK’s leading communications agencies, where she was responsible for its overall strategy.

She has provided communications advice to BT, Land Securities, European Commission, HSBC and Sainsburys. Cat holds BSc Joint Hons form Loughborough University as well as PGC’s in Leadership and Public Health. Her early career’s role in the MOD established the emergent leader within. Cat has driven transformation in the pharmaceutical sector, created and operated large campaigns for people affected by Stroke and for landscapes of Wales.
