Gafyn is Owner and MD of Glân Cleaning Services Ltd, providing commercial cleaning services across Cardiff and SE Wales.

Following an enjoyable fifteen year career as a teacher of Physical Education in Torfaen and the Rhondda, Gafyn crossed to the private sector in 2010 with the formation of a domestic cleaning business. This business transitioned in 2015 to Glân Cleaning Services, with a mainly commercial cleaning focus. Glân is proudly the first private cleaning company in Wales to be accredited as a Living Wage Employer.

Gafyn is also a Board Member and Financial Director of Snowsport Cymru|Wales. Skiing has always been Gafyn’s passion. As a ‘side hustle’, he has organised over 50 ski trips since 1997 with various groups, initially as a school PE teacher then latterly with ‘friends and family’ and business groups..

Outside of business Gafyn’s interests are generally associated with sport and fitness. In his younger days, he enjoyed a decent rugby playing career but has gained even more satisfaction from a 28 year period as a Rugby Coach with various teams at University, Club U21, School and Club mini & junior level. In addition to sport, Gafyn sings with Côr Tadau Trisant, a 50 strong male voice choir established in 2013.

Gafyn has been a member of Cardiff Business Club since 2012.
